PUBLIC RELATIONS and MEDICAL CAUCUS - Amy Shipley
Amy graduated from University of Hawaii at Manoa in 2014. She completed her Clinical Fellowship at CHI Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center in Houston, where she gained valuable experience in critical care and acute rehabilitation. She graduated from ASHA's Leadership Development Program in 2020, and has completed a variety of formal training for voice and swallowing (SpeakOUT!, MDTP, pharyngoesophageal manometry, MBSImP, FEES). She was awarded the American Speech-Language and Hearing Foundations' State Clinical Achievement Award in 2020. Amy's interests including improving efficiency, efficacy, and perceived value of medical speech-language pathology services in Hawaii through clinical practice and interdisciplinary collaboration. Amy has been an active member of HSHA since 2012.
