HSHA Hawaii State Capitol Day 2019
Serving with Aloha. Making a Difference.
Join us at the Hawaii State Capitol the morning of March 1, 2019 as we meet with the members of the Hawaii State Legislature, provide education about who audiologists and speech-language pathologists are and the work they do, and advocate for issues and legislation affecting our professions and the individuals and communities we serve.
With the support of an ASHA Student Advocacy Grant, we will be joined by students from the Hawai’i National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association Hui Puanaleo Chapter (NSSLHA) and mentoring them in essential advocacy skills necessary to become lifelong advocates for their clients, their professions, and themselves.
If you cannot join us in person, please consider supporting our important messages at a state and national level virtually. More information will follow with specific ways to share your voice in person and virtually, support important messages, and be part of the change!
